Our Mission
At the Kid Book Nook, our goal is to help parents, caregivers, and educators foster a love of reading in children, starting at home. Our goal is to help you choose books that will tell a story, instill a lesson, and teach children about the world around them in a fun and engaging way. We carefully curate children’s books to help you navigate what to read next based on various ages and interests.
The Kid Book Nook was started by Ginna Neel, a parent exactly like you, seeking the best books for their children. A parent who, after reviewing lists of best-selling children’s book lists, found that just because they were best-selling did not mean they were always the best.
Diverse and Inclusive Children’s Books
Traditionally, the book publishing industry has lacked in diversity, but fortunately, more diverse and inclusive books have come on the market in the last decade. We are passionate about sharing diverse books, in addition to the classics. Our goal is to create book lists that are as unique as the children who read them.
